Our mission is to play a role in the eradication of pit latrines in rural schools by providing safe, modern and environmentally friendly sanitation facilities thus helping to break the poverty cycle.
Our Vision
We envision a holistic educational experience for the African child. One free from the shackles of poverty.

What We Do
- Rescuing Learners
The Johannesburg Plan of Implementation (JPOI) as adopted by the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in 2002 had the following targets amongst its goals. - NGO
Sanitation coverage to be achieved in all rural areas by 2025 Improve sanitation in public schools. - Finding Quality Material
Although efforts are being done by the Government, the backlog is still huge. Basic sanitation is enshrined in the South African Constitution and is therefore a Constitutional Right. - Sizani Foundation
Sizani Foundation has been established to augment the Government in its effort to meet this Sustainable Development Goal.
Objectives
- To provide learners with the opportunity to acquire literacy, numeracy, creativity and communication skills
- To help learners enjoy learning and develop the desire to continue learning.
- To develop the ability for critical thinking and logical judgement.
